So,  :drunk3: i send the job to the rip with live transparecy (v 1.7 or whatever) and it craps out with a memory error.

How'd you guess, and we're limited to one press form so sizing is critical...5th round of adjustments today.

well if it's really important to you and you have the cash get a roland print/plotter system with a GMG rip in front of it

i think its the versacamm series - whichever width you need

prints direct to rigid and with GMG running it pretty good colour wise too. then the clever little beast will cut and crease it too.

but its not cheap. roland made the machine with no real market target because it's too slow for real commercial wide format - so it teamed with GMG to furnish the packaging mock up markets

UV system direct to substrate is the future - but not cheap
