Just had to download an urgent job from ftp. When attempting to open...'Internal Stuffit Error'  #17999. Using V 11.x from last month install. In desperation downloaded latest...V12. Trashed earlier version as per instruction. Dumped .plists. Installed and opened new version..Presto! Just an FYI for anyone having trouble.
:) Then again; coulda been the .plist dump alone.  :-\

So,  :drunk3: i send the job to the rip with live transparecy (v 1.7 or whatever) and it craps out with a memory error.

Stuffit has been getting on my nerves lately. I get several more errors now than I used to.
I'm going to give Unarchiver a try.

Looks as though Unarchiver won't handle .sitx files. ' least that's what it told me.  ::) Can only advise download StExp. V 12.x, then>Trash, [their instructions], any earlier versions. Also don't forget to trash .plist files for StExp. in both Library~Prefs~com.apple.yadayada[app in question]... and User~Library~Prefs~com.apple.yadayada[app in question].
