Oh, rly? See attached.
QuoteSo you guys are going with Prinect instead of XMF?
Apparently. Even as bad-ass as XMF looked & the benefits, I guess Heidelberg made 'em some kind of offer to stay with Prinect. Probably a bundled deal of some kind with the impending press install. Whatever.

Yes. That is an Intel CPU. No where does it say "G5". So yes, you can run 10.7 on an Intel Mac Pro but not on a G5 Mac Pro.

"There's been a lot of research recently on how hard it is to dislodge an impression once it's been implanted in someone's mind. (This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

I'd like to be on the latest and "greatest," especially if it's free... but no way I am taking a chance on fucking up my working system.

Actually it seems Apple no longer does security updates for any version other than Mavericks according to the tech writers though Apple will not comment on it or answer their questions about it.

I have it at home on my Macs, but not here at work.
We have too many Quad apps that can't currently run under Mavericks... yet. Our max OS is 10.8 for now.
