Welp...today's the day I clean out my desk and delete my personal files.
Training for the newbie starts Monday so I will have minimal access to this computer which means my B4P activity will decline. :cry:
It is so slow, our big press won't run again until next Thursday! Which also means I'll be working "reduced" hours until my last day (May 23).
But something tells me I probably won't make it until then.

At this point it looks like I'll be leaving the country at the end of the month/beginning of June.

Had to create "a more bevel edge" yesterday for some stupid poster.
type is converted to outlines, there are two layers, the purple underneath and pink outline on top.
Look what happened when I stroked the pink to the "inside"...thank you Indy.
Had to create the outlined text in Illy and then copy/pasted that into Indy 5 and then added the effects.
Anyone seen this before? This is also a legit Adobe font....Lithos.

BTW, we have the 19 x 25 plates. I haven't heard anything from the pressroom with jobs burned last week. YET.
And I don't want to say anything to them out back, because if we do, every little stupid problem they don't really have, will be blamed on the plates.

I going to be burning about 24 of those plates today...will report back.

Reading comments on Slashdot about the EOL for XP...and someone from the printing sector made a comment. THE SHOCK!  :shocked:
