Hey Slappy, I would be looking at IP address conflicting somewhere. Are they static??
Turning printer on/off will assign new IP and will allow to print. Does it only print one job/sheet them pause again? if so its definitely an IP issues.
We had it magically happen when IT did an upgrade but of course denied it.

where would that be?

wondering if I should restart and see if I still get the message?

I am talking about the battery backup the server is plugged into. Are you talking about that or the server?

Your UPS should "beep" to indicate if your batteries are low. Get the name/number of said product and Google should give you a hint.

In XMF, try turning off "Fail Font embedding" and turn on "Use Font Emulations" See if you can get that to give you a workaround.

Been thinking this one over for a few days. I would approach it with a GREP Script in Indesign if you need boxes to be black like a traditional crossword. Excel / Data Merge would contain your words and a number to give them a certain colour.
I might have time later this week to have a play and help you out.

Can you upload a screenshot of what your imagining it to look like?

I would remap the 1255 to 875 in XMF. Hesitating at a guess that the colour is in the job tag/info marks.
See it happen before.

Quote from: off_set on February 20, 2019, 10:22:28 AMHello there!
Yes, it's for digital printing in this case.

Lets simplify it and pretend it's less than 60 pages:
- I've created  the stripping page template for saddle and stitch;
- I need to divide the book in:
  a) 1x16 pages (saddle and stitch)
  b) 1x12 pages (saddle and stitch)
But the 16 pages group and the 12 pages group are perfectly binded between themselves. (Sorry, english is not my native language so some technical stuff may be a little more difficult for me to explain :) ) That's why I think I need to create some section dividers or it will saddle stitch the all book... am I wrong?

Now, of course a book has more repetitions of this groups and if I have to multiply this for a 300 pages book, it's a little bit more of work and I thought there was a quicker way.

I've added an image to help.

I think I know what your trying to do.
I wouldn't use Pagination mode for this one, but you can if you like.
I would just do it as a normal Saddle Stitched book.
In Assembly Sections Icon, create a new "Section" and your pages will reflow into 16, 12, 8 or whatever size of section you require.

Glad you worked it out out. As Tracy mentioned Pagination mode once you are used to it is really quick and effective.

We are all here to help anytime.

Sounds like you can create 1 sheet with an impo on it and having trouble with adding more.
At the bottom left you can see the sheet, you need to right click and add another or click flow auto.

If you can post some screen shots I will be able to help you out more.

Bookwork is quickly done using pagination mode.

Cheers for the input guys n gals. I eventually just went back and modified the GREP script (100 times) so it now sees the colours in groups of 2%.

I will eventually re-modify the script later this week so I have ranges of 5%. So in theory I can go to 500.

At Wits end and wanting advice on how to fix. (easily please).

So I've just spent the last 5+ months working on a massive project. I mean massive as this is a Heatmap designed to show us visually where things happen in our State. I have drawn the map in Illy and imported and linked to Layers and Variable Data so i can view by Name/Postcode (zip)/ distribution areas yada yada yada. see attachments.

All was going great until they now I've been informed the client wants a recap of the last few months which pushes the numbers past my range of 1% to 100% of a colour. You will see by looking at the numbers represented in the Heatmap (Let's call them beers consumed for that area) that it works perfectly except for once it goes above 100. If above 100 it only displays the first two digits for the colour %. (circled in yellow). The GrepHeatStyle script will only allow for 100 (I believe).

Looking for advice on how to display the numbers above 100 in total to be a different colour or background pattern?
I know I could change them manually but there are 420+ area variables so far and I nowhere near finished.

Any advice from you scripting pros will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers  :drunk3:
