I'm buying an iMac refurb & I have CS4 and not upgrading. Ever. Fucking. Again. Does anyone know if it works on El Capitan? There's a decent 24" running Snow Leopard if I have to go that route. I've checked the Adobe boards, but I can't seem to find a definite answer.

I wonder if I just migrate it all over if it will work.  I have CS2 working on Windows 10, Apple is a PITA.

Buy the computer with Snow Leopard!  :wink:

What year is the iMac. If it has El Capitan on it now it might be too new to even run Snow Leopard.

Oh no, it's two different computers for sale, a newer one with El Capitan and then an older one with Snow Leopard.

The older will work but it is bound to be a slower computer that probably can't be upgraded later if you want to. The newer one may be iffy but the person in the article I posted above got it to work so it is possible but may be troublesome. Good luck.

At home I'm running CS4 on Yosemite no problem.

You will need to install an old version of Java to get Illustrator to run. Google it to find the right version.

One gun. A shotgun. The State of New Jersey makes you get a purchase permit for everything, including BB guns. BB guns are not even firearms, they function with spring or air power, but because they look like real guns, they are classified as firearms. BTW slingshots are also outlawed in NJ.

Oh, I'm well aware of the fact. What's funny is I can buy an airsoft gun that would fool anyone at the store down the street with no issues. I've been around firearms my whole life and I'd be hard pressed to tell if it was real without me holding it on my hands and cycling it. It's got a metal frame, blowback when it shoots. I'm waiting for when a overly jumpy summer lake person sees me in the backyard shooting and calls the cops.
