How to set the automatic unload of plate at the back thru the conveyor??
take the machine OFFLINE, and then it depends on the OS running on the pad. Basically, once you get in, there's an icon that looks like a plate coming off the drum, and you press that. In there it has an image of a plate unloading in front (left), and one unloading in back (right). Choose the one that unloads in back and put back online.

That is working what i mean is after recording the plate should be unloaded automatically in the back through the conveyor. how to set like that?
Corn is correct. I am currently running an 8600. When set to Manual Unload, it will eject through the front door. When set to Automatic Unload, it will spit them out the back slot, to the conveyor. This is how I have it set up.
It will indicate all of the active paths of travel, on the little 8-bit schematic on the display. It uses lines with arrows and circles to represent rollers. It's rudimentary. I can take a pic of my setup, if you need further clarification.

yes please.
This is a picture of my interface screen, on the PT-R8600 (Fuji T-9000). The arrow at the right of the schematic shows a plate actively unloading through the back slot, to the conveyor for developing and stacking.
I am currently (in the picture) running full automation, from the cassette to stacker. Preload is off but it still semi-preloads, as long as my tiff catcher is actively sending. Full P-Load gains me about 6 plates per hour (to 24 from 18), 8-up size plates. I turn P-Load off when switching cassette sizes to save hassle.
This is a still shot but at 6% burn, the big wheel at bottom-right is animated and turning. The arrow at back blinks while the plate is unloading and the top arrow indicates loading a new plate.
Speaking of Screen 8600's we are having problems unloading plates. I found this article at PP that describes our problem to a tee:

Looks like we need to replace a relay (PTR 8600 Relay for Brake - the new part number is: 100090068V00 instead of: 151162) for the drum brake, but I'm having a hard time location the relay in question. Does anyone have a service manual for the 8600 or know where the hell this relay is?
:banghead:
Yes, I think I do. I'll dig around and see if I can find it. Standby...

Linky. This is mostly ole PT-R8000 stuff, but the Service Drawing 8100 PDF is also valid for most of the 8600. It even says 8600 when you look at the drawings, and I have used these to fix my 8600. Hopefully it helps...
... Look in the Service Amend Manual, within that ZIP folder. Pages 29-40s show troubleshooting sequence for 8600, as well as a labeled drawing, showing parts and locations. I used this to track down a faulty solenoid not long ago. Put your fuckin' propeller hat on, bro...
Many thanks Ear! I'll update when I have time later but the machine is fixed. The manual helped me to track down a faulty relay.

Hey Ear!,
I'm trying to figure out how to mount my tail clamps on my PT-R 8000. Do you still happen to have that service manual? Much appreciative of your time.

Don't know anything about screen but
Did the clamps go out of position?
We've been having our smaller (26") plates get jammed on removal / ejection from drum. (after burning etc)
So we removed the tail clamps from the drum and cleaned / inspected them, (not too dirty!...) but we were struggling to get them mounted in the proper spot on drum for loading back in machine.
I've done way too much Googling and can't find the proper steps for it. Appreciate any insight you have.

With our Magnus, you have to position the clamps "all the way UP" so the sensors see them and are happy...
HTH
that sounds like what you would do for the trendsetter also
I'm sure you saw these already but just in case

OK. Thanks to Tracy and born2print We've got the tail clamps loaded properly! But...now we got a new error. :strangle:
E4128 Mechanical Error - No balancer has been detected by the balancer search sensor.
E5168 Mechanical Error - The drum is rotated to "balance pin before inserted" but status of Servo controller (SVC) is not changed to "Ready".
Anyone wanna take a crack at interpretation? (Tech is schedule for tomorrow...so...no big deal ...just brownie points if we get farther than this..)

Reboot the entire system and hardware?
Some devices like that work themselves into a tizzy and need a fresh start after solving an issue or two.

Well after a few reboots / tries at loading a plate, still getting those weird errors. The tech is supposed to be here today. I'll let everyone know conclusion to the story after he's done. (Paul Harvey)
Thank you for everyone's help! It shall be interesting what the true fix is.
-Tim
yeah let us know!!
Well, tech was here for a few hours. Cleaned out some of the machine and current diagnosis is the board that drives the servo / drum brake is currently bad. Part is ordered and hopefully will be in tomorrow! Stay tuned...

Well parts didn't arrive in time for last week..so we've got parts in hand and hopefully will have a fix today!
Stay tuned...(Harvey)
We are now in the "lightning zone". We've changed 2 or 3 boards so far? (Who cares after 1 eh?) The tech mumbled "this sure seems like a lightning strike". (Why didn't my poor Ricoh machines not get obliterated? You wink at them and they "fry")... More parts yet to arrive.
Tomorrow the story continues.
 :zap:
ai Yai Yai!
OK. After swapping 2 or 3 boards. They found one that had a burnt chip! PIO board I think he called it?
We've burned multiple plates since then and so far so good! H00rah! :aljolson:
Thank you again for all who provided input as we worked through the issues! :D
