Cooking a tri tip beyond medium rare is a felony in most states.

The key to tri tip is low and slow.

I like to get my grill up to about 175-200, and keep the heat (propane or charcoal) to one side, and put the tri tip on the cold side, FAT SIDE UP. Close the lid and use the grill like an oven for 2-3 hours. I like a dry rub, but some people will swear by a marinade.

Getting the smoker going is a good way, too, if you have one.

I like A1, but NEVER on Prime Rib or a Rib Eye. Maybe on a T-Bone. Probably on a New York Strip or Top Sirloin.

Looked into that one as well. First they want all your information. Then, again, it's a limited free trial. They're pushing their VDP software. Kind of similar to FusionPro, but it works out of InDesign instead of Acrobat. Going to stick with mail merge and manual impo here, for our purposes; can't justify the cost... don't do enough VDP to make it worthwhile.

We have a forms department, and they created a PDF form that allows you to attach files within. When we receive an order form, the art is located in a field box where you click on the file name and extract the file. I've included a screenshot. Well, I got one with a .zip and I can't extract it, open it or anything else. Any idea how to pull the .zip file out of a PDF to work it?

@larsenio, that can be done in InDesign very easily. It can be done in Illustrator too, but there are some tricks in Illy. If you're moving the same distance every time, select the item and Command-C copy it. Then, from the dropdown, go to Object --> Transform --> Move. Set your specifics, and click "Copy." Then Command-D as many times to repeat the step and repeat.

IIRC correctly, Preps does not do step and repeat for independent pages, but it does work for defined pages.

Maybe Quite Imposing? Also, IIRC, Esko has it's own imposition, but I forget what it's called. We used it at Dome... before they sold out, went in to packaging and then closed its doors.
