Title: Offset trim marks to 1/8 inch
Post by: pspdfppdfxhd on September 16, 2015, 08:16:52 AM
Does anyone know how I might offset the trim marks (from the actions list) to more than the default?

Seems like it's only a bit more than 1/16 but I don't see anywhere to change it to 1/8.

I am thinking that it's odd for pitstop not to have any control over this, sometimes we'd like to use even more that 1/8 inch.

Here's an action that you can adjust to suit your needs.

GREAT! THANKS!

Once again a testament to the awesome-ness of this website, to we, the more intelligently challenged!

dumb question: I imported the .eal file from the desktop and got the script working.... would it be loaded in there permanently or if I filed it away would it not function like it's missing a link.

You can move it or delete and the action will still work. It gets copied to the Enfocus folder so you no longer need the original.

Awesome.... if I ever win the lottery, I'll be asking for some of ya'lls addresses to send a nice cheque!

You know who you are! (at least I do!).

Best part is after you have sorted the issue, go back in and click edit and see what was done to get there. I still get lost building lists in Pitstop though. I can't seem to make action lists, only quick runs.

Yes, a little confusing to say the least.

I was able to change the line weight from the default though and position the marks exactly .125 inches by editing the script.

I'm happy the boss considers what I do witchcraft.

Though when something goes wrong, for example when the internet goes down and I know it's just comcast and their shit service, he turns into Gordon Moore.

The more "magic" you do, the more they expect it seems.

Do you find; the more beard you have, the less you get fucked with? It's an interesting phenomenon. :mrt:

You might have something there. This is the first year I kept the face fuzz throughout the year instead of shaving it off in spring. This is the first year the boss is treating me like a human instead of a robot.

Goatee is fine but it's kinda the mullet of the beard world.

I don't think the hitler would help anyone. Full beard to scare your gorilla pressmen... of course it helps if you are a gorilla too. 8)
