Windows XP, Color Profiler suite 3.1.0.18, densitometer ES1000

I can't activate the license file for Color Profiler on the dedicated fiery workstation. I have the license file on my desktop, when when I try to activate, it tells me it "did not result in a valid activation." Have restarted, re-connected ES1000, downloaded new license file, no luck. I can run it successfully on a mac on my network. Any ideas?
I can calibrate through command workstation, BTW.

Edit: I see you are getting help at the EFI site.

Hope you get it resolved soon.

Couldn't license version 3, version 2 worked OK.

Are you running EFI ColorProof XF? If so, you have to stop the EFI service before loading a new license. You can right-click the green dot or go to services to stop the server.

(This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

Running it, not on the same workstation.
