So you can opt out of them sharing your information. You just need to inform them via email not to share your personal info with any 3rd party for marketing purposes.

Probably not. Look at nuts.com privacy policy which they have to have somewhere on their website. When entering an email address it is on the order form and in your account which neither should be available publicly to anyone else unless they sell their email lists to others. Most legitimate vendors don't sell their customers data.
