I have a code for a UPC that is 13 digits. Anyone have a plugin that can do this for me. All of the online freebies only think 12 digits. Code is 7 312040217502. It is a European product we all can drink. Do you think I can use the attached gif, place it and go? It is 45kb and sized 444x317 and yes it is reversed cause the bottle is reverse printed. Smarta**es printed the code on a clear glass bottle and now have to sticker it to get contrast.

Tried it but, my Bar Code Pro won't do 13 digit European codes, sorry.
I can do it by making the number code hidden and then adding it back in as a human readable, but it doesn't tuck it into the bar like your example.

Enfocus Instant Barcode should do this. It's a plug-in for Illustrator.

Are you using an EAN-13 for your format?
That should work with most generators (make sure you remove the space in the code digits)

Yes EAN13 was correct and an online generator worked - I was putting in the check digit and that was the confusing thing. Noob mistake since I have never set a EAN13 before.

Matt - I downloaded and installed the Enfocus version. It is not CS5 enabled (yet) so I installed it into my CS3 version, having to reauthorize my version (fingers crossed). I could not get the trial to generate a code as it was not obvious to me after 1/2 hour of trying to get it to do something. Never got the hang of it once.
