Hundreds of printing companies around the world, from large to small, use Metrix to help them plan and execute efficient print manufacturing.

LithoTechnics has an opening for a full-time Technical Support Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to incoming technical support requests via phone and email. You will also be involved in software testing and defect tracking.

To be successful in the position you must be self-motivated and a natural problem solver. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to keep your cool when a customer is under pressure. You'll need a good knowledge of both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems and an in-depth knowledge of the printing industry, specifically prepress and/or production planning.

Additional skills that would be beneficial but not necessarily essential:
- an understanding of print finishing processes and systems
- experience with imposition systems and processes
- a technical understanding of JDF/xml
- experience with MIS / Estimating systems
- prior experience with software testing
- prior experience with MS SQL Server

The position is available immediately and is based in our Edmonds, WA, office.
