Hi guys,
Anyone know of, or have used, a reliable/competent deep etching service offered?
Our head office creatives are looking for such, and relatively urgently.
Can't see why it couldn't be 'offshore', depending on bandwith, (I have no detail as to file size/nature of job at this stage).
We're in OZ (just a reminder.)

Use Google to search offshore outsourcing company who provide this type services. You can use keyword "Deep Etching services" or any relevant keyword like "clipping path services" etc.

Not sure what it is, is it embossing?

That is what they call it in India/Bangladesh. Pretty sure that post is spam from there.
I did an internship here back in the 90's:

I remember doing some guitar amplifier tags that were maybe .125 thick, then acid relief etched to about half that. Really cool stuff.
In rotogravure, before the HelioKlischograph (https://www.hell-gravure-systems.com/helioklischograph-k6/?lang=en) came into being, we had to etch the copper cylinders with Iron(III) chloride (FeCl 3), also called ferric chloride. That stuff would eat the clothes right off of your body. :rotf:

she makes it sound like clipping paths are so easy to make, just click around and viola!... instant path.
all you need to do now is spend another hour or 2 putzing with it to get it to look good.

Yeah, and using selection tool THEN converting to path makes a lot of points. Ugly.
We used to cut so many paths (and other times selections for like different hits of opaque white) that we used to have Wacom tablets to help our wrists not to disintegrate.
many moons ago we used to make zinc blocks... yup they were deep etched with acid, great fun!
