Hello there!
I have a question:
Can i take the scsi card which is located in my rip and put it in a simple PC
and then connect scsi cable of delta tower in pc and use computer as a rip.
 is that possible? :undecided:

Have you forgot about the software?

Yes you can move the SCSI card - can you get a driver for it to install on the new machine? Perhaps cloning the HD and installing the cloned drive may make it all work. It may be worth a trial for sure.

If I was a betting person I would bet the software has registered the machine initially installed on and will not start on a new machine.

You need to move the software and dongle and some deltas only work on nt depends on the version but is very easy to install it the scsi card need to be installed and the windows has to be the same version 2000 nt whatever

The only reason to move the scsi cable is valid if you plan to change the computer used by the rip.

Beware that it could not be done arbitrairly.
if you have delta 6-7 the software installed in tha new computer will be Windows NT4-SEVER vertion
if you have delta 8 the software needed win be windows nt4-2000 - Server vertion...
if you have delta 8.1 the software needed will be windows 2003 vertion...
 etc.
The new computer must support
-Windows server version
-The correct version of windows server.

For examble the new computers (intel based, core2 duo) does not suport windows nt or windows 2000 SERVER.....
Windows XP or Vista are not valid to be used by DELTA.

So you must take in consideration the characteristis of the new computer...
