Title: Is this a Public Domain image?
Post by: Slappy on January 11, 2023, 09:32:00 AM
Of course, client needs banners TODAY and all they gave us was this low-res image of MLK. This is an iconic shot, but can't find anything that will scale up well (to about 8ft) without all of the background clippings.

Is there a repository for shot like this?

Yeah, I'm trolling through the archives now-not a ton of luck surprisingly.

I realize that it is too late, but to me it looks like they added a gradient to this image:

I discovered this app over the weekend that might help too. I haven't tried it out yet, but am very curious how well it actually works. Topaz Labs Gigapixel AI (https://www.topazlabs.com/gigapixel-ai)

That looks like an almost "too good to be true" kind of tech, but with advances in things like deep fakes et al - maybe? I'll give the trial a shot at some point, thx!
