RAMpage / Re: FILE CANT RIP?

@MWC Thanks for the response. I deleted the job and re-register everything from my FPO to preps sig an bodabing it worked! I think rampage was acting up. I was confused on why the hell it would be making an issue over something super simple and thought it had to be operator error.

Hey Guys!
I am trying to get this 4 up 8.5x11 S-W perfector to register in rampage. I think it has something to do with the preps settings but when I view it in Rampage its cropped off the image... When I view it in preps its proper. Suggestions on how this file should be output from preps and ripped into rampage?

Yep, So basically I will continue to copy the entire tape documents onto my drive and it should still stay on the tape?

So I will have both as a back up.
But the thing I am worried about is having one or the other get messed up during this data transfer.
But it looks like its plug-in HD and go. just a long wait to load all that onto my HD.
The IT guy had a better idea but cost more haha.

I read the form and I am attempting to copy all the data from my retrospect tapes to an external hard drive.

I have 40 tapes I want to copy all the files from and put them on a HD. I feel like our retrospect is super outdated.

I think its going to be easier to access those files if I have a usb hub to another drive..
any suggestions on best way to transfer all this data without messing up the retrospect or damaging files.

I guess I would copy each tape and all of the files to the drive. (attached pic showing inside tools)
I am trying to figure out if all 40 tape will fit on terabyte external hard drive.

what action do you do in pitstop to automatically make that happen?

I thought I had it setup in the way I export the PDf to automatically make all color profiles the same...

I ripped it as Single Page Rip and knocked out everything.
I tried a bunch of different ways to edit the trap.

not sure why its making a box like that only on a few pages and not all?

I will keep trying to edit it and figure it out.
I might even just try to edit that pdf and exchange that lil icon for one that did work and see what that does.

Thanks for the Feedback!

We looked at the ijetcolor and it was limited on the ability to print somethings the xante could do better.
I will let you guys know how it is 3months down the road haha I'm excited to get it going especially with the capabilities it has for variable data.

When I was working in screenprinting and embroidery and we had some old beast of xante awriter and it was our work horse for printing film separations.
we also had a few epsons 4800 and 4888 4900 7800 ect
I was in charge of using the chip restter and filling the inks by hand haha stuffing old shirts in the maintenance tank. good times-
