Bar code compatibility check?

We have upgraded from AP8.1 to 8.4 and on some older jobs I am getting the message that some bars have failed the compatibility check when opening and asks if I want to remove them (I'm not since these have printed many times over the last several years).

Just curious what its checking for. These bar codes were most likely created in ArtPro any way.
