Someone sent us a business card that is a .pvs file. What the heck is a .pvs file? Does anyone know of a way that I can convert it to something I can use?

I have a feeling that it is only a couple of lines of text, I don't know why they didn't just type the text into the email.

I googled it and nothing looked very likely.

Try opening it in a text editor. Sometimes you can read the info contained, and it will give some guidance as to what app it opens with.

Parallels Desktop Configuration File
Stores configuration settings for Parallels Desktop, a program that allows Windows or Linux to run on an Intel-based Mac; loaded by the the Parallels virtual machine when the program is started.

Settings include the location and size of the virtual drive, memory allocation, network settings, peripheral connections, etc.

If that is what it is, they sent it by mistake.

Attached is what I get when I open it in Text Edit.

I notice references to Comic Sans in there, obviously it's a real professional job. :sarcasm:

Here's the actual file, if anyone wants to have a look at it.

Thanks David. Is there a way to get the graphics? :undecided:

Someone from our office is going to see if they could send it as a PDF or at least a JPG. :undecided:

David

I haven't been able to get it to open in anything yet so I can visualize the graphics.
Just looking at the code.
Maybe open it in Freehand?

I tried it in graphic converter and had no luck despite tinkering with the preferences. Here's what I got

Thanks for trying. Hopefully they can send something better, I'm not real confident about their level of computer skill though. :undecided:

(I think I may be leaving earlier than intended today, I think I'm coming down with a migraine)
