I'm trying to output a PDF from a website in chrome. THe thing is it's not opening the save to dialog, it just prints to somewhere and I can't locate it. Anyone have an idea where the default location is in slow leopard?

Nevermind, I found the save to PDF option that gave me the location dialog. I do remember having to use print to PDF in the olden times but things have changed.

Well, in some shops at least.

And the punchline to the joke is they want 6 8.5x10 pages of data on 2 and a quarter 8.5x10 pages...

You can always open Terminal and use the super useful (if you have homebrew installed for OSX - or a Linux)

I've got a pdf from a customer that is all FUBAR. I had to use the multipage pdf place script to place it in InDesign and then adjust each of the 132 pages to allow for coil binding. Now CC2018 won't let me export to PDF.

I did the Print to PDF thing, but then I couldn't find the file. I did a quick Google search (is adding the word, "search," redundant now?) and it seems like Adobe, in all their wisdom, discontinued this option, but then made it available as a separate purchase in the Cloud for an additional $5.99/mo. I call Bullshit on this. Regardless, I had to make a postscript and distill it... WTF? Is it 1996 all over again?

Why won't it let you export to PDF? And printing is old fashioned. :cane:

By that message, I would think it is either a font issue or, the placed PDF is locked from printing or embedding. Cryptic errors, I have found are usually security related or "f" related (font). Going to PostScript sometimes will get past them, but not always.  Good luck.
