I don't think the artists have taken too much of a hit. Besides that hypocrite Lars a lot have embraced the net as a way to get their music directly to their fans. It's also allowed a lot of small guys to get recognition without having to sell their souls to the record companies. Yea, they are not rolling in cash like Kanye but they are making a living making music.
Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.

Those terms are not Vuze specific. Bit torrent terms
