Artpro Preview

We upgraded to ArtPro 8.6 Rev. 7 on Monday.  We have (2) Macs - mine has been in our Department for 2 years, the other is refurbished, new to us Monday.

Mine is OK.  On the other one, every time a file is opened, there is a black outline on all the elements (see attached file).  We compared Prefs on both machines, and they match.  He dumped his prefs, started over, same thing.

that looks to me like a spread on the red colour - are ya viewing one with overprints on and the other without?

I've seen this before its a weird pref option somewhere where all elements are hilighted black without selecting right?

Let me remember where that options at.

Yup, that's the problem.

Ok in viewseparations/options under view pull down, click objects tab make sure only selections borders and transparent are selected and all is off, or just set it up like your other machine

Yea that would pop up every now and again unexplainably.

Got my answer for AWS support 4 hours, 18 minutes after I asked.  Same answer as G.

Glad I wasn't hanging from a rope!
