add the thickness of the box (x2) and the length (x2) plus 1/2". You will need a better pic that shows the actual size or have whoever took the pic measure it accurately so you can make a rectangle with folds.

What is the width of the sleeve? you only show the box size.


something like this:

I usually start off with a scrap strip of paper (doesn't matter the width or length, as long as it goes around the box with a little extra overlap), wrap it around the box, then mark it where they overlap. Then give it an extra 1/2" for a glue flap.

I'm guessing it's because you have a 4 up 4 pager layout and it doesn't know how to fold it. Looks like you may be forced to use a folding pattern unless you can do an independent page or something similar. Never used Signa so I'm shooting in the dark.

Are the 4 covers in the same pdf file? Assuming that Vers 1 cover is pages 1-4 in the pdf, Vers 2 cover would be 5-8, etc. If this is correct, then your layout should work.

If you are dealing with separate 4 page covers (4 pdf files), then all 4 versions would be numbered 1-4 and that would make 1 version work but the other 3 would not due to the page numbers not matching the layout numbers.

sounds like somebody is either gonna lose their ass on this or make a ton of money if you make it work.

I've seen stuff like this before. The file was probably rejected by other printers, and your sales guy sees dollar signs.

I would suspect that the file has more clipping paths than you can imagine. I've had trouble selecting some of those as well, mostly because they are on top of each other, so using x/y coordinates to make the selection in most cases picks the wrong mask.

can you select the mask first and change the size then do all the moves after?
