Was it ever really there?
:rotf:
Well you know...
But they actually had some good info for creating some fancysmancy RBA there.
That's ironic, this week was GUA University in Chicago.
In recent months there was a heading that said they were in the process of moving to a new system that was supposed to begin, I think back in January. Hopefully that is what is happening now.
I went to GUA U last year in Toronto, and if I remember correctly, they took the forum down during the week of the U. It came back up shortly after. And like Joe said, it's had a header on it for months saying it was going to be moving. But nothing has happened (typical Kodak). Like most things Kodak...stay tuned.
So I guess if that is it they don't want people attending the GUA U to spill the beans prematurely?
It's back, I think you were right Joe, new platform.
Still vBulletin but a newer version. :puke2: (not a fan of vBulletin)
Bunch of new categories too.
This is going to take awhile to get used to.
Looks like they lost a bunch of the newer posts. In the Prinergy forum the latest post is from 1/25/18.
Looks like game over for the Kodak GUA Forums. It's been this way for more than a week now. I guess COVID-19 finally killed it.
I had a support call Wednesday and mentioned it, tech was surprised.
This is pretty sad, but the writing has been up on the wall for some time. Finally was able to go to a GUA a couple of years ago, and it was great. A lot of info to be had.
The king is dead, long live the king.
It would have been nice if they would have left an archive online somewhere.
That is sad. I've had times where Kodak said you couldn't do something and with some help from people on that Forum, we figured out a way.
Yeah it wasn't busy with a lot of activity but it had a lot of good info especially with RBA stuff.
Hadn't been on it in years
that's what she said :rimshot:

My coworker and I can't ever pass up the opportunity to say that. Everyday. All day.
Grab the Domain Joe! You'll be a Forum Running MACHEEEEEEN!!!
The domain is not available. Not that I would buy it if it was. ;D

dayum, dude.
you've been in my bedroom?
:tombstone: I remember their site being down before, when they were changing the site over to a new platform. But they also informed us that it was happening. So this is really strange. :grimreaper:
I had another support case open and brought up the forum. this is what they said:
BTW, regarding GUA Forum status: I'm unsure what is happening on that site but my colleagues have recommended that you send an email the folks listed in this link:
https://www.kodak.com/us/en/corp/media_contact/default.htm
OK I have contacted the 2 USA reps in that link. Any bets if I never hear back? :rotf:
I just sent an e-mail as well. I got a bounce back from Kevin Rhoney that he's on leave... We'll see if the other person answers.
I emailed them too, and got the same message.
I got the bounce back too and emailed the email address the bounce back said to contact.
We must have gotten through to them. The GUA forums are back.
I wonder if we will get an email back apologizing or an explanation? Oh wait, I already know the answer to that. :shoots_self:
Well I didn't. Maybe someone else that emailed them will. :sarcasm:
