problem with Illy CS5 (v15.0) and placed psd files

If anyone has had problems with Illy CS5 in the way that it handles placed psd files, you will need to apply the 15.0.2 update available from Adobe. We found out the hard way that there is a bug in Illy v15.0 that alters the screen values of placed psd files ie: a 40% screen can degrade down to a 20% screen. The 15.0.2 patch fixes this problem.

Huh, never ran into it. I use Illustrator 50% of my day at least, now.

I read about that in the Adobe forums. Surprised they put out a fix already.
Tall tree, short ropes, fix stupid.

It's not a bug. It's a feature. Adobe is trying to save you some ink. :sarcasm:
