And the thing is it doesn't look like there is anything on page 140 that would cause an issue.

Pages 1-139, pages 143-232 all good... no problems.

Pages 140-143 all ripped when I turned trapping off.

Pages 140-143 all RIP, trap and the rest when I converted all the text to outlines.

Thanks for that info. I think I like yours better than the below solution.

On another front...Saving the file as postscript and distilling a new PDF works as well.

I only do that as a last resort. I extracted those 3 pages and the rest flew. Then I went back and converted those 3 pages to outlines and sent the whole file, flew.

Trying your solution by outlining all of the text on pages 140 - 143 and then saving the PDF with all 232 pages in the file. It seems to be stuck at 14% in Prinergy.

Edit: They did finally process. Took about an hour though.

Yep, that's exactly what happened on this end. Originally, I had broken the file up in about 5 pieces, and ripped them all separately. Then, after I figured out the offending pages, I went back to the original and fixed them leaving it in on piece.

Good info.

Now hopefully I will be able to find this thread if I ever encounter this problem.

I'll remember. Guarantee that. Just next time it comes up, you ask me, I'll tell you, then we can remind each other that there's something to remember that, I guarantee I'll remember.

Pages 140 to 143 still has be stumped. Running a preflight doesn't show any font errors other than running the Font License action that shows the restriction for subsetting and they still won't process if I only outline those fonts. I can only get them to process by outlining ALL fonts on those pages. So it is definitely a font issue. Just not the licensing restriction fonts though.

I can't find the offending problem, but I haven't really looked very hard. I tried deleting all the art outside the artboard, but that still errored out.
