David

any you guys that can convert this font to a type one font gets the prize.

I got a Q7 file that "the desinger" used this POS font and it has license restrictions and it don't want to play nice.
I have Fontographer but it has been grinding on it for about 20 min. now.

okay...
ready, steady, GO!

Acid Label

scroll down a bit to find it and the download button is on the right. It says PC/Mac OS X, but I don't believe them.

thanks in advance for any and all help,
David

thanks!

this font really bites a big one.
I've been dinking with it since about 7:45 am.
can't export pdf, can't do an eps, can't make a ps file, crashes Q7 when you turn it on and try to print or export anything.

funny thing, it's used in a religious mag.

Just saw this and am guessing DCS already did it. But I'll attach it here JIC someone wants it as it is free.
Why didn't you just use the TT version I didn't have any issues ripping it, but I don't use Quack 7 and that may be the culprit? And I also used Fontographer and it took like 5 seconds to convert.
Could be your Mac is wanting? LOL

okay, just to let you know, I kicked the job back.
that friggen font is evil.
it continues to crash Q7
thanks to DCS for the type one conversion, loaded up and looks great, but then promptly crashes.

gonna have the client send me pdf files instead

this just in, called client, even he had trouble and it kept crashing his Q7.

So, what makes you think it would work somewhere else?

You can convert it to outlines if you have the native files and don't mind a little typesetting in AI. I would export the outlined files as eps, and drop in Quark.

that was my suggestion to the all knowing disinger.

and if it crashes again, save it as a jpeg.

Must be Quack 7. I just dumped that ugly ass font into Indy CS2 and also Quack 6.5 and had no issues PDFing it or ripping it in RAMpage.
Instead of blaming a font be real and blame that dog of an application Quark calls version 7!
