So, client wants a bunch of tix with barcodes - they have the data but can't tel me WHAT format the barcode's in - any idears? :banghead:
Ean 13??
code 128?
nope
lol, Google image search thinks it's a piano keyboard.
I'm sure the ID Automation people have it, but we don't have their software here and I'm not getting into it today. If it's THAT important, the client can tell me wtf they want.
Where's your sense of adventure? There's only like 5,000 types of barcodes!
Might be Codabar (https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-fonts/codabar/), but again - I do't have it and I'm not dicking around wit all that scripting in Excel blah blah blah.
possibly a Code 2 of 5 Interleaved
The leading bars are what it is
3 thins followed by a thick
According to my barcode reader it is an ITF.

Codabar was another of my failed tests - nope.
tried a few flavors of ITF, no luck... but there's a lot of flavors
Maybe it's WTF?

I tried to use one of their data points to generate one (using an online tool) and it's not recognized.
Fail. :lmao:
looks like interleaved 2 of 5
I believe delooch is right.
Loading the image to https://online-barcode-reader.inliteresearch.com says the same. Now just have to figure out why my reader miss identified it.

Oh yeah, now it works. Huh, let's keep this to ourselves for now - ok?
Just saw this message this AM, and I tried scanning it with a piece of software on my phone called Scandit, and it says it is a Interleaved 2 of 5. Great little piece of software for double checking barcodes. Attached a screenshot of the main screen showing all the barcodes it can scan.
Not sure you know but you can make those barcodes in PitStop if you need to.
We added a barcode library a few versions back and that type is supported!.
Just in case....
Oh crap, why do I never remember this???
No way we can get the job done in the time frame they need(ed) but I'm going to give it a whirl anyway. Thanks!

I don't see the Interleaved option in the default Action List, is it an add-on?
Duh, long miserable week got the better of me - I see where to modify the barcode Action. Not sure when I'll have a moment to mess with it but I'll try.
