this does not sound good, my acro says up to date
does this mean it is installed on my computer? I don't see anything different
I'm on the 2021 version and turned off automatic update
not sure why I had it on anyway
Also not seeing any difference and it says it is up to date. I even told it to check for updates.
From Adobe's site:
QuoteCurrently, the new experience is being rolled out as an experiment and available for Acrobat (64-bit) English locale only with no third-party plug-ins installed. The feature may not be available to all users.
Oh, yeah, I'm sure you all want to take part in an experiment, especially to help out poor Adobe. If it messes up your computer, it was for a good cause. :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:
In an odd twist, I had to Force Quit Acrobat the other day (that's not the twist, obviously) and when I tried to restart my Mac it said it couldn't due to a "Pending Update in Progress" or something. Acrobat had forced an update in the background and I couldn't interrupt it, or it assured me chaos would follow. Guess I was spared this "new experience" at least.
