Hi y'all,

Just updated Acrobat to the latest and suddenly Pitstop is not working right.

When I use the selection tool, it selects but does not SHOW the item is selected. Not good.

We're using Pitstop 13 which I know is pretty old. We could not survive without Pitstop at this place with the type of work we do.

Is an upgrade imminent?  :drunk3:

Hmmmm, just downloaded the trial version (2021) and it's the same thing, you can select but you can't see the selection.

Latest Acrobat feature? Working blindly in PitStop?

We got an email from Enfocus telling us that they are upgrading their license servers on Sat. Sept. 18 and that for a brief period you can't sign in or out, uninstall, re-assign, activate a license key or manage subscriptions. The email looks like the date is a variable so perhaps they are rolling it out gradually and it got you guys already?

Have you tried quitting out of Acrobat and restarting? Reboot the Mac? Sometimes Pitstop just stops working on my Mac where it won't select anything. I have quit Acrobat and restart it to get it back.

Grrrr, no. Suspicious that it happened RIGHT AFTER the update.

Joe

I would try re-installing Pitstop. Are you running Acrobat DC? Version of Mac OS?

Dumb question: how do I get rid of the trial version and go back to 13?

Seems the version is not the problem here.

Joe

Looks like my DC updated overnight. I'm seeing the same issue.

Oh no. Well last week we dealt with the .lockbit ransom virus which almost decimated every file we have here on the server. There was 2 internal backups and they got .lockbitted too. Luckily the IT consultant had a cloud backup that was ok. This seems minor in comparison to that. But could be a huge headache down the road if there isn't a fix for it soon. Can we go back to a previous version of Acrobat before the update?

ANYBODY ELSE? I THINK 3 OR 4 WOULD MAKE A CONSENSUS. WHY AM I YELLING? I ALWAYS YELL WHEN I AM SCARED!

:drunk3: :drunk3: Oh, a bit better now.
