Having fun writing about prepress & printing for my Prepressure site

Nice...except the whole world domination Adobe is trying to accomplish.

Better Adobe dominates IMO, than being forced to use Quack, at least Adobe makes an effort to show how their applications work.

That's true but once they get so big they turn into a Microsoft. Hope it doesn't go that way with Adobe but I see some of it at times.

Right you are, although I've never had any issues with Adobe, I have heard a few horror stories. With the way the economy is going, it's not like any new graphics software company is going to emerge anytime soon either.

Right now the only thing that they are being "Microsoft" arrogant about is the fact they won't listen to anyone that tells them Acrobat 8 is a piece of garbage. Leonard (from Adobe) over at PP thinks it's a great piece of software. Leonard, of course, is dead wrong on this subject matter.

He is an ass IMO. I've had a few go rounds with him in the past. A lot of people are bitching on Adobes forums about activation thats now needed to, it seems to cause issues for some users because of permissions.
