I like how some "free" backup software will hit you up for payment when you try to restore the files. There ought to be a law.

Back in the days of dial-up I can understand using a download manager but with broadband I don't see the reason. Always run virus scan on any questionable downloads.

Macs are not immune to "hackers". With apple grabbing market share virus writers are aiming for macs now. Regular backups are your friend.
