Good point about the cel phone switching, you have to use the cloud.
The stores don't have the magic boxes to transfer from old to new phone anymore, and haven't for a long time.

Yeah, we gave-up DVDs a long long time ago.

I agree, keep the archives (on whatever media) yourself, offsite duplicate = all the better.

All our workstations are Ventura 13.6.
except one is on Sonoma 14.6, which is past what is supported by Kodak for Prinergy 10 but has been working fine.
No retirement issues to report.

Yeah, late adopter here.
I prefer being on the cutting edge rather than the bleeding edge.

Quote from: David on August 23, 2024, 09:38:38 AMI don't use XMF but most imposition programs do not support a "nested" style impo.

You will need to do it in an external program (Indesign or Illustrator) then place the nested file in the impo.

Yep, that's what we do, we prep a single box (or whatever odd shaped item) and refine.
Then we hand build the form using that pdf in InDD and refine that, then impose "1-on".

Even if you don't know Morse code, just 3 of anything is internationally recognized as well.
Fun fact... "Mayday!" as a distress call.
M'aidez (pronounced the same) is French for help me.

Biggest color transparency I ever saw was around 8.5x11-ish.
It was a Gabor sister... a LOT of retouching on the Prisma as it was used hard and all beat up...
the tranny that is.
