Hey everyone,

When it came to converting Quark Xpress 5 files to InDesign, I had a copy of QX5 on my PC server which I would use to backsave files back to Quark Xpress 4 so that I could convert them from QX4 to InDesign.

Sadly, that PC server went to Silicon Heaven about a month ago, so I no longer have a viable copy of QX5.

Does anybody on here have the ability to save back to Quark Xpress 4, or have an easier way to convert old Quark files to InDesign?

It doesn't happen here very often -- just enough to be annoying.

Any help / feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Unbelievably I think I can do it.
I found a quark 5 on the computer that runs my 11x17 scanner.

Sorry, even on this geriatric POS I only have 6.1.

Speed doesn't kill, rapidly becoming stationary is the problem

I'd rather have stories told than be telling stories of what I could have done.
