我觉得它每一年都没有什么能提升的感觉,我已经对它失望了,每次都是版本号的变化,。相对的我更喜欢海德堡,它更好用

Quote from: AX6666 on July 05, 2022, 06:05:01 AMI feel like it doesn't feel like it can improve every year, and I've been disappointed with it, every time it's a version number change. Relatively I prefer Heidelberg, it is better to use
I was very happy with Prinergy when I was still working. In my mind it is still the best out there but to each their own opinion. I am sure Heidelberg gets the job done.

I really have issue with the Heidelberg system. You know this, man! Now granted, it's been 15+ years, but when I was forced to use it, it was garbage. The owners insisted it was top-of-the-line, and I argued with them constantly. Finally, they brought Heidelberg in to the shop, and I showed them about 15 issues that couldn't be worked around, and fought with them until they finally admitted they were known issues being addressed in an future update. We switched to Rampage right after that. Maybe it's been fixed? I have no idea...
"There's been a lot of research recently on how hard it is to dislodge an impression once it's been implanted in someone's mind. (This is why political attack ads don't have to be true to be effective. The other side can point out their inaccuracies, but the voter's mind privileges the memory of the original accusation, which was juicier than any counterargument ever could be.)"

I never used it but I know of people that do and they love it.

Downloaded the Prinergy 9.5 installers last night, but I think I will wait a couple of more days and see if any issues arise.
Still need to read through all the release notes etc. too.

We use Heidelberg Prinect but only the press room manager module.
Which is really cool actually.
Leave it open all day in my 3rd monitor.
It appears they have made a lot of improvements over the years but like Joe said we are so entrenched in Prinergy and InSite that it is hard to imagine using anything else.  No need or desire to really as it works very well...minus Kodak's slow response to OS updates.

不知道这次prinergy9.5会不会有不一样的惊喜。目前还有一些文件,prinergy都过不去,prinect流程就没问题!

Translation: I don't know if there will be a different surprise in prinergy 9.5 this time. At present, there are still some documents, the prinergy can't get through, the principle process is no problem!
What documents can't get through Prinergy? In my experience of files that won't go through is that the problem is with the file and not with Prinergy.

We very rarely have a problem with getting a PDF through Workshop.
One problem we do have maybe a handful of times a year is with PDF's with blanks added in by a designer or customer in some abnormal way.  They fail at the 1st refine and bypass refine will not work either, delete the blanks out of the PDF and it processes right through.
