Adjustment levels

not sure whats going on, I cant seem to make an adjustment on a grayscale image.
I make the adjustment in levels and when I click ok it goes back to the way it was before adjusting. Its an image I bitmapped and made grayscale to make the adjustment.

Bitmapped files are 1 bit. You will not be able to adjust like the norm. When you convert to gray from a bitmap, the file is still set up black or white, all the gray tones are wasted.

another photoshop question!
I have a spot psd that indesign wont accept.
the spot channels are correct, its save as a multichannel.

InDesign don't likey Multi-Channeled files. Convert it back to CMYK, leave the spot channel and resave as PSD.
