Spot color drop shadow multiply @ 32 opacity

CS3, Spot color drop shadow multiply @ 32 opacity and save as Press PDF.
My spot drop shadow is now CMYK.
Am I doing something wrong or is this not fixed yet?

Did you set the raster effects to preserve spot colors?

OS10.6.8  OS10.10.5
Windows 10
Cannon C6000
Oce TDS 860

RZ, I did a quick test in CS3, etc... saved PDF Acrobat6, refined in Prinergy4 and mine worked, screen shot attached:
My lips are moving and the sound's coming out
The words are audible but I have my doubts
That you realize what has been said

Yes Preserve Spot colors IS on in Document Raster Settings.
Because it feels good !

The "Press" preset converts to CMYK. See attached.

not in my pdf joe - and i just used the ordinary press quality setting - didnt change anything

but I DID check the preserve spot colours

Sorry for wasting your time......
All I did was take off all the shadow effects/filters and re-do the shadow with effect/drop shadow,save as 1.5PDF  
with NO color conversion and it works now. Goofy though, why the original would'nt work.

CS3 Illy? That's what my default "Press Quality" preset shows.

Edit: Oh, maybe the "preserve spot colours" held it.
