Quote from: Tracy on February 09, 2012, 02:26:41 PMI was gonna post my digital camera model, but you probably don't want one because they seem to get lost easily.
I had Nikon S8100 not too expensive a little bit bigger lens than the normal quick shot cameras

It looks like I might have lost it this past weekend when I went to The Wild Animal Park
stolen, perhaps?

Im good with that, I would like to think it was someone else's fault
I put in a lost and found request (dreaming)?
oh and it was a Nikon I don't know where I got Konica

I was going to ask if you were experiencing excessive jamming with your camera.... But then you cleared it up

Yeah when I first started GUI Design I found the same thing out very quickly.  Go with a PNG and you should be golden.

Digital Printing / Re: Canon 7010 loses job count

Yeah We have experienced this before as well.

I suggest checking the Print Log as delooch pointed out.

Go to the main Screen on the machine
Press System Monitor > Print Status(Tab) > Log (Tab) > (Find your Job) > Details

Sometimes you might need to do a little math depending on the particulars of said job.

Quote from: gnubler on February 02, 2012, 03:15:11 PMWe're not that "advanced". Our first aid kit has Bandaids that don't stick and aspirin that expired in 2007.

hahaha I relate with this so much. We have 10 year old aspirin and antacids...

Quote from: tuff_gong on February 02, 2012, 01:25:05 PMThe screen cap shows printing directly from a mac? We impose with preps, save the result as a pdf, then "import file" at the rip. Would this be applicable to your method?

I haven't done it in quite a while, but I believe it works this way too. I always use imported PDFs ran through distiller when using the Fiery.

Oh and we have a large fan directing hot exhaust from the back of the machine which feeds into another fan that blows the hot air right in the walkway toward our "breakroom".

Literal sweatshop?

Did they have to install some sort of large power convertor box thingy (No IT experience obv.) when they put your imagepress in?

We have this 4' x 3' x 3' box that stabilizes incoming power before it goes to the imagePress.

I wouldn't be opposed to finding a subscription service that was unlimited downloads. Because I would just pay for the first month, using that month downloading as many images as possible and throwing them on an external hard drive. And then just cancel the service. That would be worth it to me, even though it sounds like quite a time waster.

Happens all the time here.

Really? I don't think that has happened with any of our guys.

yes but you're allegedly young. Give it time. There is no limit to what a pressman can do! I've had them re-output plates at different linescreen then call me at 3am asking why there's a moire

Sweet! Something to look forward too!

haha. I'd really hate to say that maybe our pressman are just competent but that just wouldn't make any sense at all! An oxymoron at its finest.

I must be mistaken....
