Late adopter in digital photography. [It's now reached my pathetic price/quality co-efficient]. Someone here, I'm pretty sure, recommended Irfanview. Maybe David...someone. Downloaded it ages ago in anticipation, [am talking home PC here]. What a great [free] app!

nope, wasn't me.
but it looks like it will do some modest image work, with about 60 file formats including .ico (for all you favicon makers!)
