Title: Curves & linearisation
Post by: Diddler on June 06, 2016, 05:37:26 AM
Wondering if any one can help me out. I need to find out the linearisation of the plate from an old Prinect Signa Station (Ver 11) so we can have a starting point for our new imposition software setup. Seeing as I'm not at all familiar with Prinect does anybody know where these may reside in the system? info on any Characterisation curves would also be appreciated.

Cheers

Curves & Linearization should not be in Signa Station forum.
It depends on your setup.
We have Meta Dimension with calibration Manager that you use to create and tweak curves, etc...
Whoever set it up might have set folder with curves and configurations wherever.
Easy way would be to launch Calibration Manager, select Curve or Linearization and choose "Export".
Hopefully that will bring you to last folder used.
I hope his helps

Yes your correct Zox, I posted in the wrong section, but ultimately received your answer that led me to a path to recover the information that I required. Hats off to you.

Just for a bit of background info, I needed the curves and Linearisation as we have acquired this company and now need to integrate it with our existing prepress setup. Or at least that is what I am trying to do.

I've got my fingers crossed as we all know what should be achievable is not always achievable.

I think there is a lot of the same going around, we've been going through similar acquisitions and integrations for several years now.
I don't see a sign of it stopping, you stop, you die :)

Anyway, good luck with your integration.
Let me know if I can help somehow, we have Printready, Prinergy and at the other location Printready, Prinergy and Esko.
