Hello ^-^
Does anyone of you know if it is possible to obtain information in Fiery XF 7 about how much of each ink was used when printing a given job on the Epson SureColor SC-P5000 printer? I'm trying to find any information about this on google, but to no avail. I have found calculators to check color coverage, but I can pull this information using Enfocus Pitstop or directly from ArtPro. This won't tell me much anyway, because at work we have colors that are reproduced by the printer, so such color coverage will not be of much use. I will be very grateful for any help from you.

Hello.
Can I ask you for help in correct profiling the Epson SureColor SC-P5000 Violet Spectro 240v printer using
Fiery XF version 7? We bought a Fiery XF, but apparently the gentleman who sold us the software was unable to help
us profile the printer in HT mode (Half Tone, attached Screen1 section 1 option "Printer Type"). Would anyone of you
be able to help me profile the above-mentioned printer in this mode, by the way, explaining the individual options
marked on the attached screenshots? I would like to understand what this option is for and what it affects. I have too
little knowledge to carry out this process in HT (HalfTone) mode instead of CT (Contone). The question is whether
having such a printer makes sense to profile it in HT mode? We would like to be able to reflect the largest possible
gamut of CMYK and Pantone spot colors. To measure all printed charts, we use SpectroProofer that is built in this Epson
printer. We would like to achieve near-perfect colour matching of up to 99% of Pantone Solid Coated Colours as it says
on Epson website with this printer.
In our company we print in offset using the "IsoCoated v2 300" standard.
I'd be grateful for any help on this subject.

Hello,
I need help removing the white lines that appear in the pdf file (screen attached). For reasons of document confidentiality, I cannot say what the final product is. The pdf file is generated from ArtPro, it has layers and spot colors. The blue objects shown in the image are vector objects, PitStop shows that their colors are defined as DeviceN (composed of 3 colors). I have tried many ways, but I fail to remove these white lines so as not to disturb the structure of the pdf file and not lose quality. I have run out of ideas on how to get rid of this. I will be very grateful for any help on this topic.

Enfocus / Reorganizing the PDF file
September 05, 2019, 01:07:40 PM
Welcome Girls and Guys
I need your help because I don't even know how to bite this topic myself. Soon, I will receive a large number of pdf files from the client. In each of them there will be numerous groups of objects, consisting of a photo, vector object and text (the text can be converted into curves in advance). The placement of these objects in the client's file is random. Due to the fact that I can't send the client file here because they would fire me, I made a test file based on the client file. The file is called "BEFORE.pdf". What I need to do is reorganize these groups in one copy to stuff them into A3 format (without scaling, the only thing you can scale is the pink table with the word LEGEND on top of the document). Groups of objects cannot touch each other. If the objects are too big, I have SRA3 format (450mm x 320mm). Also I can't change color profile of this file. To put it simply, I need to reorganize the "Before.pdf" file to the state shown in the "After.pdf" file. Can any of you Girls and Guys help me with automate this operation? Can this be done in Enfocus Pitstop or Adobe Acrobat DC? Maybe some other application can do this?

Hello,
I have a small problem with creating a list of actions in which I can mark a specific color. I created this action, but nothing happens. Below screen from the created action.
Translating:
1) Zaznacz wszystko means "Select all"
2) Zaznacz kolor dodatkowy (spot) Lakier means "Select spot color (spot) Lacquer"

At section 2) I'm selecting color by its name. I'm trying to create a global action but I'm stuck at this stage.

Adobe Acrobat / Strange problem in PDF File
June 13, 2018, 06:53:49 AM
Hello all
I have a strange problem with this pdf file linked below. I can not do anything with the text object. At Pitstop I can not convert it into outlines, I can not remap it to another font. Only after saving the file to .eps and then to PDF using Distiller makes that the text can be edited and I can do with it whatever I want. Can you help me with what is wrong with this file and possibly what should I tell to the Client what He have to change when He generate files? Is the font coding problem?
Is it possible to change the font encoding directly in the PDF file?

Best regards and thank you in advance for your help.

The Rest... / Best free PDF Editor?

Hey All,

Do you know any free application for commercial use in which you could modify the pdf file? I mean cutting to any size I want, it would be the main function of such application and possibly checking the color separation.

Thanks!

Hello
I have a problem with creating a .pdf file from the .ps file using Adobe Distiller. I receive .ps files from the client. When generating a pdf file, I get the information as shown in the attached screenshot. I conclude that the font is a problem. The question is, is it possible to change the font in the .ps file to a different font? When editing such a file in Notepad + I see the source code, so maybe just add a piece of code that would do this? Does anyone of you know what to add in the code or how to repair such a corrupted .ps file?
Regards
