Not sure, but check to see if they are shipping El Capitan now. They are offering the free update at the App store now.

I think that is in their laptop line. At least my 2013 27" iMac doesn't have it soldered in.

and all is good with DC?

If you buy a refurb it has whatever came with it new. If you buy a new one it will be OS X 10.11 (El Capitan).

Hey all,

Well the iMac is working very nicely. I have conquered all the connectivity issues and the workflow is splendid. Thanks to all for your contributions.

Next up is the determination of keeping Kodak Prinergy or ditching the whole Magnus / Prinergy and moving over to Heidelberg.

I should be moving to the sanatarium soon. :shoots_self:

El Capitan? Wasn't that a beer I drank in the Dominican Republic last year?

There is nothing quite like the taste of a frosty cold quart bottle of El Presidente on the bus ride from Puerto Plata to the resort.

I hear ya,

Wonder if they have it in Cuba, we're going there on boxing day......... it's a 1.5 bus ride from the airport to Santa Maria island and they serve beer on the bus.

Could be a "wobbly" walk up to the reception desk.  <------- oh, that's popcorn, thought it was beer.....no beer here? Oh well, this will have to do. -------->  :drunk3: :drunk3:

Not me but there are people that are. And just to clarify....DC is the latest version of Acobat. Not Creative Cloud. That is CC 2015. BTW....Acrobat DC takes some getting used to.

No they don't have El Presidente in Cuba, but they do have Cristal, which is quite good as well. If you are landing in Veradero, there's usually a guy selling cold cans where you get on the buses to the resorts. I think he was selling for $2 CDN (yes Canuck bucks) per can so I usually get a 6 pack for the ride. That's about the only place you can spend your $CDN. After that the currency is Cuban CUC's that you can exchange for at the hotel.

which is why I'm getting a new computer, am I misunderstanding?

I'm still getting the computer either way

All of the latest software from Adobe will run on OS X 10.9, 10.10, and 10.11.
