I don't know - I always heard it as "scootch". I didn't know it was a real word, but it made me want to kill every CSR who ever said it.

If you hang out at GD Forums for about 10 minutes you can learn all about that. I challenge you to start a thread titled "What colors evoke feelings of hunger?" and just watch the desingers swarm in and debate about it.
