Fujifilm XMF / MIS Compatibility

What MIS is everyone tying XMF into? We're stymied by EFI Logic as our MIS and trying to tie in to XMF. I was hoping to find some workarounds or XML to JDF tools.

Hey guys! I have a problem that has been plaguing us for some time. It stems from our stripper (very good stripper, very technical guy) insisting on stripping everything in InDesign. It's not the way I want it, but please bear with the process.

So, we have a job with say an inner shadow or inner glow

We export a PDF from CS2, CS3, or CS4 to our RIP (it's Esko/Nexus). It traps it, creates another PDF. The stripper has some scripts and hotkeys and about 9,000 (1,215 exactly) templates. He imports the PDF files, and the templates account for bleed, creep, etc. He also has a custom reduction along with creep. Not proportionate, just to make sure all of the image is there, and crossovers are exact. I don't like this, but the outcome is pretty nice.

So, the file is stripped in CS4, full of PDF files. He exports it, and some of the effects drop off, like inner shadows or glows that are built in InDesign. Any effects from Photoshop or Illy seem to be fine.

Any idea what causes this? Is it a bug? Is there a good way around this outside of not reducing or using an imposition program? It's a very scary problem to have when his output doesn't match mine, and I'm trying to find a way to control it. Thanks for your help!
