Not sure what they did with the clone tool
but when I go to clone something it grabs the entire image
I see there is a clone pallet, they totally ruined the clone stamp
and I need it!!

David

you probably have a huge brush selected. Do you see the round circle when you option click to select the clone sample?

oh, what version of Photoshop?

Well I figured out pretty quick that someone had fiddled with the Greek type below ____ pt. setting and had it at like 1000

Sometimes it's just the smallest things that can trip you up. Stuff you wouldn't think about. Going way, way back, I worked second shift with an AM Varityper. When I came to work, I found out they had been waiting all day for a fixit guy to come from 75 miles away. They couldn't get the thing to load the software from the 8-in. program floppie. I just happened to see that the caps lock was on, so I took it off, tried the load button, and whaddya know?

You should have seen the look on the boss' face when I told him what was wrong. Saved them the cost of a service call.
Tall tree, short ropes, fix stupid.

My situation was different, I was on a PIA advisory board and then ended up helping (Rick?) the teacher and TA out sometimes. I also used to give them paper that was quite useable for them but destined for the recycle on our shop floor. Good times.

I just had a good one! We all just went to OS 13 Ventura and it's been fine, but one operator complained that the red / green / blue window buttons were grey. We saw he could go up a bit so we went to 13.6.6 and it didn't help...
IT was stumped...
Whelp, it was his general appearance setting of "graphite" that was doing it, I changed it to blue or whatever and he's fixed
