anybody got a plain manila folder die?
doesn't matter what size I can manipulate it
this one is a flat size of 18.125

I had not installed Pitstop 2020 before I went on Disability
I have the license but not the DMG file, I cannot find it on the Enfocus website
can anyone give me a link to the DMG?

Not sure what happened to the eraser tool, I was able to fix the issue once but not sure how to do it.
I usually fix scans with the eraser tool toggle from black to white
somehow the eraser tool is only doing white or just erasing, I would like to add black using the eraser tool

So I noticed in Library/Fonts there are a lot of fonts from my Adobe Fonts and my Personal Fonts
that I have not put in there, is Library/Fonts grabbing those fonts?
How can I get rid of those? I don't want to just delete if that is bad.
There is a lot of fonts!
This computer has been in someone else control for 6 months but I don't think it was his fault

So I left early Friday and the pressman tried to make a plate with the imagesetter turned off
I know that alone would not of caused this problem, I'm unsure what he did.

but there was a message that backup failed and call administrator.
so I had to delete the file he was trying to make a plate from (fyi he got his original plate to work) sigh

I'm dead in the water here I can't do anything, can't put a file in, It's like the server doesn't see me.
and trying to manipulate any file from the actual server is a fail
I'm hoping tonight once it does a successful backup it will be ok tomorrow kind of doubtful tho.
anybody seen this or have any suggestions?
If it doesn't work tomorrow, I will have to call Fuji, and my boss has not updated my license so it will be a pretty costly
phone call I think.

I have 3 versions of a job
and one of them is coming out LAB Spot the others are CMYK Spot
what the heck is going on, they say they are all CMYK Spot.

Had changed them to process, but I need them back to spot.
any ideas? I tried changing to CMYK Spot in pitstop for the 1 item, just to get through
it till I can figure it out, but its not changing there either, not sure what Im doing wrong.

These guys can take a low res image and make a vector file, wish I knew how they do it
They are in India I think, they charged us $10.00!!! more complex costs $20.00 I think

Something happened to my acrobat palettes
I can't read the item when it's highlighted
I tried changing themes but the palettes stay dark

it seems to be the pitstop palettes
when I click on trim box line it does turn blue so I can read it
but hey that's an extra click! :laugh:

We just got a new Xante Enpress
Copy guy is having trouble with a #6.75 envelope
it's running pretty slow, actually pausing also, It's only text.

He is going to switch it to the illumina but would like to know a possible solution.

Just a heads up:
My canva pdf printed the black text as grey, Only reason I noticed it is I had to print 3 of each on different paper.
I prolly wouldn't have noticed it otherwise and got bitten!

I pdfx1a'd the file and it was fine, even before I did that I had Device Cmyk'd a new pdf as it was acting strange when I went to fix the blacks.

I will pdfx1a all canva pdfs now! I guess I will have to start checking where my pdfs are coming from every time now that Canva is getting popular.

I think I have it figured out but since I don't have a license anymore
I don't want to make a mistake, just wondering if there were any potential problems

When I get in this morning, my Server's fan is running and sitting
like I had a power failure, did a hard power down and startup
I saw little messages about a battery, the only thing I could catch
was pci or pcL slot 18
started up fine, also I have a battery backup on the server.
The old Mac that sits next to it was shut down, which I only sleep that computer

So it looks like some kind of power failure happened or my battery backup glitched.

So my questions are
how do I check the battery is really bad?
How do I replace the battery if it needs it?
Is this urgent?

Can someone post screen shots of their mouse settings? The ones in Accesibility.
When I go to rename a folder on the desktop, click - pause - click
It doesn't work sometimes, I'm noticing click wait 3 seconds click is working
and when a file is inside a folder, no problem click pause click works quickly, weird
I know all the other ways to rename but I like the click pause click.

I'm pretty sure it's my computer maybe the Mojave update,
but I've been messing with my mouse settings, so second guessing myself

Is it possible to do the Time Machine backup on a WD Raid disk?
the you tube video of the kid in his bedroom shows backing up to an external plugged into the computer.

I have a share on my Raid disk that says Time Machine, but I think it's to back up the raid?
I'm already backing that to an external.

I have made that 3rd fold (right)  .125 shorter so it doesn't hit the left edge

I made a dummy, now that I look at it again that top right corner even if scored is going to crinkle

I was working with some text to export to a .txt for Excel
I exported to a text only file, Had to fix something and now
export to text only isn't there, on both computers.
What am I missing?

I have a file that everything looks good page prep went good, looks like everything is fine
but it says it's waiting for pages and won't output, I'm just trying to impose a 68 page into a pdf.
I added plates to see if the outputting the pdf was the problem but it's waiting for pages for the plates too.

I think I've seen this before but can't figure out what it is

fyi: I did this same book yesterday at 8.5x11 but today the book is 5.5x8.5 (info not provided yesterday)!!!
