do you recognize the difference? (except if you rip it) what determines your choice?

We are press printing company and basic tools are www.xing.com and the web page. What other methods are useful to find direct clients?
Looking for clients in press exhibition like "Drupa" didn't give positive results.

What service do publishing company could provide for publishers? What else publishers may need?
