Hell, yeah! I was getting bored with doing my "old and tired" routine. (I'm actually incredibly active and energetic for a 59 year-old.)

I take a very long view of history, past and future, and have always known deep down that there would be major shifts down the road in the ownership and viability of the software we use. Adobe is not forever, which is as it is and ever shall be. Nor Apple, nor Microsoft. They will all go the way of Pan Am and Eastern eventually.

I like to point out that I just used Freehand for the first time in years after receiving a Freehand file.

I used to be a big fan of FreeHand, and then it left me. I was abandoned and left alone to fend for myself with Adobe Illustrator. I have a big empty space left from the hurt.
