Adobe Acrobat / Re: Reducing pdf size
September 28, 2023, 12:34:02 PM
We used to have a program called PDF Shrink and it did an incredible job, not sure if it is still available.

Adobe Acrobat / Re: Errant Object in Preview
September 28, 2023, 12:29:25 PM
We get problems like this when customers are opening the pdf in a browser instead of acrobat.
If we can't convince them that it won't print that way we convert to an image and re send and it magically fixed it.

If so, what version would that be?

I have Quark 2021 running on Big Sur

Quote from: Tracy on March 10, 2023, 02:17:25 PMUgh! I updated my illustrator yesterday, no more Pantone, I do have the older version on my other Mac
but I think I'm going to need the Pantone license.

Did you try bringing them back in from an old library?

Quote from: pspdfppdfxhd on February 25, 2022, 10:25:06 AMHmmm, thought I had posted this previously but maybe I only hit the preview button.

We have BigSur up and running, using the latest pitstop and Acrobat, but Acrobat is buggy as hell. When ever you go from one page to the next you give a double flash, it's crazy. Mostly when the output preview is open. I am concerned that I may have a seizure here. :o

I get the same thing, I feel better now, I thought the video card was going.

new to preps, basically working with templates that cover almost everything. I want to adjust a template that is set for 2 sides. I want to get rid of the back page and cannot figure out how to do that in preps. Using Preps 4.2.2

**edit**

I swear this happens 9/10 times I post a question, I figure it out after. Seems so counter intuitive to newer software! Also realize now that Preps is not part of Agfa but Kodak

Just select the page & for the back set the page number to zero instead of two.

Adobe InDesign / Re: Export PDF reverse pages?
December 20, 2019, 06:02:27 AM
Here is another way to reverse order pdfs.
Extract all the pages,
Now go to File> Combine> Merge files into a Single PDF.
Then click the "Name" tab on the top left and this will reverse the order of the pages.
Press "Combine Files" and now you have a pdf in reversed order.

wish I could join u lot! but the timing is not quite suited to those in the southern pacific

It is worth downloading the recording and listening later. Good stuff in these webinars.

Been trying to download monthly webinars from Enfocus website but I've been getting this message:  This recording cannot be played or downloaded because it was disabled by the host.
