I was going to say the same thing... but its a very different type of owner/business going forward from here, concentrating on the quick turnaround, shortish run stuff with a good digital printer and a couple of smaller a3 offset presses... and a good mix of lots of clients, so yes sales is actually important!
Having a natural disaster 5 years ago (actually its closer to 6 years now and was ongoing for at least 2 years... fkn earthquakes) also threw every business of every type here out of wack, the ones that have survived were the ones able to react and rebuild and get running again the quickest.
So many of the larger print companies here have merged with others, some successful but a few not.

Not that I know you.... but I am glad to hear you have found another job, sounds like it will even gives you new skills, and that can only ever be a good thing in a tight work market.
Not sure how I would cope with not having a job (timewise it would be awesome, moneywise it would be hell), been made redundant once and that was total shyte... but had another one within a week, albeit a shit one on shit pay, but it sufficed until I found a much better one.
Hope this place does the trick for the next 7 years!

dont really want to upgrade system software at present... I know they had issues when they updated the computer last year (mostly with preps) so not that keen to do it yet.

Its not a major, but its frustrating as I could have actually used it yesterday for the first time in ages!

fabulous! and it is too!

so I do have one question... have updated Pitstop Pro to 13.2 (and acrobat now a well to 15.17) but every time I try to use 'remap colors' (under global changes) it opens the window for about a second and then crashes the application?

Quote from: pspdfppdfxhd on July 12, 2016, 12:09:05 PMI just don't want to go from bad to worse ..... or even worse, not functional. Been there, done that.

If the green sticky is gone, I'll consider it.

I'll take a wait-see.

Haven't even checked it but I'll bet you $127,364.17 that they haven't gotten rid of it.
definately no bet, its still there.

...but on the plus side the latest Pitstop update (13.2) has got the icons back!
